Gender Benders! That's right! Alamus and I are hosting the FIRST ever gender bending contest (you can all blame exileddelusion for this one)! The whole point is for lulz and just to see where everyone takes their OC's, be it hilariously wrong or awesome serious. A few have already done this to their OC's but we wanna see more which is why there will be PRIZES for this contest!

The Breakdown

The point f the contest is to draw your OC in their original gender seeing and reacting to their other gender self. You must have both versions of OC in your submission.

Best Male to Female

Best Female to Male

Best Overall


And no, one deviant can't win "Best Male to Female" and "Best Overall". There will be 3 winners so the prizes get divided up.


The Rules

1. Take any OC in your arsenal (doesn't matter where they come from as long as they're yours).

2. Now take that OC and make them the opposite gender! Think of this as a "what if" scenario.

3. Now here is the real contest, how would your OC in their original gender react to seeing themselves as the OPPOSITE GENDER?

4. Don't get too dirty and remember to abide by dA standards.

5. Any medium will do! Digital, traditional, comic, splash page, funny 1 panel, writing (although I would say 5 page limit on that.) Let yourself go and have fun!


Judges

Shadoboxxer- Will be judging male characters who become female characters

Alamus- Will be judging female characters who become male characters

Guest Judge- Will be the tie breaker if Shado and Alamus can't agree on who is the best. This judge will have to choose between Shado and Alamus' choices if they differ.


Prizes

Best Male to Female- 1 free character inked drawing of their winning OC from Shadoboxxer + 1 month subscription.

Best Female to Male- 1 free character inked drawing of their winning OC from Alamus + 1 month subscription.

Best Overall- Full color drawing from both Shado and Alamus of their winning OC plus a 3 month subscription.


How to Submit


f your OC starts off as a female and becomes a male note Alamus your entry and she will feature it in her journal. If your OC starts off male and becomes female note your entry to Shadoboxxer and he will feature it in his journal.


Due Date May 26th 11:59:59 PM Central Time. This is 1:00 AM East Coast time, 11:00 PM GM time, and 10:00 PM West Coast time. This way both judges can be up at a semi reasonable hour.


That is when all entries must be in by. Gives a full month. So get cracking
