Yeah so funny title to this entry. So i live in this area that is a little bit Redneck/White Trashy (sorry if i offend some people) and there are random KKK graffiti tags on bridges and crap too. The area is nice enough besides that, well that and you have a bunch of posers walking around like Malabu's Most Wanted... heh LOL. So now that I've set up the backdrop peep this. My roomie went away for 3 weeks and I was watching the Pups and Kitty. She comes back and everything is all good. Well just last week she told me how the people next door said to her "We wondered where you were. We got a little worried. We didn't see your car but we saw your roommate. After a week we thought about calling the cops because we thought something might have happened, but we didn't because we were sure that if something did happen your parents would call."
Me, "..... so what your telling me is they thought I killed you."
Roomate "Um... no.... but they though something bad happened."
Me "yeah, not the first time somebody thought i was a murder because of how i dress/look."
So then a few days later the subject came up again... and she she said that they think i'm creepy even though she told them i'm a good guy and that my Weight lifting gloves that i wear everyday weirds them out! I guess they think i'm a gangster. It's so funny that those two gloves freak so many people out. somebody can walk around with their face painted like the crow and a bar through their nose and they'd be the ones calling me a freak! (note: That did happen to me in high school)
The roomie said "hey you should say Hi just to freak them out."
I said I didn't want to waste my time..... I mean really if they are that narrow minded there's no point. I think that's one of the reason i've got so many good friends. because my friends see past how i dress and look and judge me for who i am.

It's so funny though how so many people that are friend's of my friend's misjudge me, but it turns out that those are the people that beat their wives, sell drugs, have drinking problems, or are just influenced by negative stereotypes.
I remember one of my friend's telling me that her friend thought i was weird and not trust worthy, till she heard the story of me telling my date that I had to leave early because my friend was stranded 10 miles away and needed me to help fix her truck. she said her friend said "omg all this time i was so wrong about him. He really is a good guy."
So let that be a lesson to you guys.

just because people don't accept you because the way you dress, what you draw, how you speak, or your background... you don't have to change to fit in with people, but be polite and say Hi or just smile every so often. If people are willing to put their fears aside and speak with you, chat it up. You might shock them and yourselves. If some people are that petty where they are afraid of you and think your odd and don't want to talk to you, don't pursue them and telling them you're a good person and they should talk to you. Just be yourself
be a dork, a geek, a jock, an artist, draw still life, anthro, comics, anime, hentai, gore... what ever just be yourself and be good at it.

Maybe you should get your roomie to pose for some "death shots" (mock up death scenes) and post them randomly!

In high school and especially college I found that the a lot of the people that looked the creepyest were actually the nicest. My parents tend to be judgemental about the people I hang out with and it always drives me nuts!
and stuff.
They all kept asking me if I was in some sort of gang or cult and whenever I tried to catch a nap before we arrived I could hear them talking about me behind my back, they seemed so troubled by two simple wristbands XD.
I had this ex who's mom found a walking stick from Japan with a pic of mt. fuji on it along with a bunch of kanji and stuff and she thought it was a demonic staff... yeah that relationship lasted a long time
